Would you Believe?(Poem)

Published May 1, 2014 by ladyserenity92

Would you believe that you have to work in order for your prayers to work?
Would you believe that you have angels in your brain?
Would you believe that Taurens make good friends?
Would you believe that Queen Charlotte had three sisters and had a cousin that played the piano?
Would you believe that same cousin wanted to marry Charlotte’s sister?
Would you believe that chocolate has the power to make people happy?
Would you believe that cartoons can make you young?
Would you believe that Chinese food is really American?
Would you believe that more witches and wizards outnumber muggles in this world?
Would you believe that the real magic is within you?
If you believe in this poem,
I’m happy to say that it is true.
Believe that magic is real and that God can conquer all in this world.

Go for broke.

“Seita’s Requiem”(Poem)”清太のレクイエム”(诗)

Published May 14, 2013 by ladyserenity92

My four-year old sister and I have seen what no child should have witness.

Fireflies have chosen us.

No!

Stay away from my sister!

But

The souls of light have chosen her.

The fireflies are transformed into firebombs.

Villages around us are tuned into brimstone and ashes.

Our own mother is swept up in the rapture.

Our own aunt has turned her back towards us.

By the fireflies, we are not welcome.

We find a grave in the caves.

And everyday the fireflies visit my sister.

“Why my sister,” I asked the gods.

The gods have made it clear with these words,

“Her time has come.”

I steal

hoping  to keep my sister alive.

With Mom’s money I brought my sister a watermelon.

She is frail and weak from hunger.

Like a fool,

I left my sister,

believing I’ve defected the god of death.

The god of death came in the form of fireflies.

Death had claimed my best friend.

In a world of loneliness,

I spent the last of my meaningless money to buy my sister a coffin.

I watched the coffin turn into amber.

Amber that transformed into fireflies.

All I have of my sister are her ashes in a candy-tin.

A crazy 14-year old man enraged in madness.

September 21,1945 was the day that my life came to an end.

This poem was inspired by the war anime “Grave of the Fireflies”.

Go for broke!

I can’t wait for….

Published August 5, 2011 by ladyserenity92

I can’t wait for autumn.

I can’t wait for the summer slump to end.

I can’t wait for the dog days to come to an end.

I can’t wait to read and write once more.

I can’t wait to know that there’s always a rainbow waiting outside for me to enjoy.

Go for broke.

Listen(Take a look into your heart)

Published April 14, 2011 by ladyserenity92

A poem that makes you think about reaching out to those you love.

Answer their cries of help.

You may save not only their life,

but yourself a lifetime of pain.

Listen to my words.

Read my letters if you receive them.

Phonetically, my words flow from the page,

 into your soul.

Listen.

Take a look into your heart.

Find a place for me.

Answer me before I fade away.

Death is forever.

I am loved!

Published April 8, 2010 by ladyserenity92

I am loved.

Because I know that in spite of being rejected by all.

And by my family.

I can always turn to God and Jesus for advice in a time of need.

I cannot hate those who hate me.Forgiveness is never easy.

But if I cannot forgive the people who hurt me,

Then I cannot be free.

An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind. —- Gandhi, Freedom fighter.

There are some friends that still care about me. Thank you.

Stay tuned!

Sweet, But Short!

Published March 30, 2010 by ladyserenity92

It was yesterday that I found a bottle cap on the sidewalk. It was this line that made me think of a poem about loving life. So here is my poem. Enjoy! “Sobe is Strong to quite Strong.”

Sobe is strong but it’s not always quite strong.

Flowers are lovely in the spring but die in the winter.

First love is magical, but doesn’t always last forever.

Forgiveness sucks, but unforgiveness can make you sick.

Life is rough, but the best is yet to come.

If you are at the end of the road,

or you’re out of gas.

Hang on in there, Snoopy!

Get used to the hell on this earth and its people.

Until you find your pot of gold,

You must fight everyday to live until the gold comes your way!

Stay Tuned!
