Anne Frank’s Sister, Margot

Published May 16, 2014 by ladyserenity92

Anne Frank’s sister, Margot has always told me….

“Put your money where your mouth is.”

And she’s right about that.

Margot often gave her little sister advice about money.

That you should talk as if you’re wealthy; not like you came from the poorhouse.

Margot Frank didn’t like her talking like she was poor.

Margot’s chance to teach her sister a lesson came when she wanted to see a movie.

Anne wanted to go as well.

Margot had money saved up.

When Anne asked her Margot for some money to see the movie,

Margot told her,”no.”

Anne never forgot about the lesson about ‘putting her money where her mouth was.’

Speak of prosperity and you will receive all the riches in the world.

Speak of failure and you will lose your place in line.

Robert K’s Message/ロバート·Kのメッセージ

Published January 14, 2013 by ladyserenity92

When Robert K. and his sister were children, they went cherry blossom-viewing in the park. Robert was so poor growing up, that the only brother-sister date he could afford for his sister was to the park. No shopping dates, no cinema dates. Just cherry blossom-gazing.

Robert’s sister didn’t mind that they were poor in the pocket. They were already rich. Even as the cherry blossoms faded and the siblings went their separate ways, they never forgot about the cherry blossoms-dates that they had growing up.

Robert became a businessman and his sister became a buddhist nun. But each of them have one they in common: even if the petals of the cherry tree fall and all of the money in the world fades away; money isn’t the real thing that makes one rich. It’s knowing the true things in life that make you rich.

In Doris Dörrie essays, the writer explains that rich people are poor when they are greedy, bitter and resentful. Rich people are truly rich when they are kind, open-hearted and giving. Even if they are penniless.

Being rich takes time and a lot of hard work, practice;kindness and heart.

This post is in English!(For now)

Published April 4, 2011 by ladyserenity92

I hate to make this a ‘english only’ post.

It’s that there were just so many deadlines to cross.

Even online, deadlines on websites also exist.

Even on the phoneblogs.

Just comes to show….

When ‘they’ give a deadline for anything….

Make the deadline or be dead!

Please pass along & translate.

Go for broke.

Check it out, bro!

What I’ve learned over the past year

Published December 18, 2010 by ladyserenity92

I’ve learned a lot of things this past year.

Life is short. Spend as much time with the people you love while you can.

Bullying isn’t forever. There are more people who love you more then are people out there that hate you.

You’re never too old, nor too young to do the things that people say you cannot do.

People often make comebacks because they just love their job; they’re not coming back just for the money.

suicide effects everyone; even the bullies themselves. Once a person’s dead, they carry the guilt that just won’t go away.

Never fight evil with evil; fight evil with good(plus, free merchandise to hand out!)

The force is always with you and others if you stand up for an outcast.

Miracles always happen in the most unexpected places. It’s best to share them then to keep it hidden for yourself.

Don’t blame your parents for your plight. You have a lot to live for.

Bad guys and gals always have to pay for the crimes they committed.

Forgiveness is never easy; but it’s a lot less painful than not forgiving.

Life is always bittersweet.

People die.

Babies are born.

Live life the way you can.

Happy Christmas, Merry holidays!

RE: TV Turn Off Week 2010

Published April 25, 2010 by ladyserenity92

I almost made it without a week of television.

But the telly got me most of the time.

But on the head-side of the penny, I’m now more careful on chosing which shows to watch and chosing other alternatives besides watching TV.

I guess you could say that I nearly went ‘TV Free’. 😉

Oh, well! But next month I’ll be doing it again.

Even in September.

Have a nice day!

Stay tuned!
