I’m in the middle of reading Margret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. I’ve read it once, but haven’t finished it. I’m just now reading it a second time. The book is like a feminine version of George Orwell’s 1984. It’s racy, yet truthful about what’s happening in Saudi Arabia and all over the world to women and to men. Atwood’s book should be read by both men and women.
There is a movie about the novel; I’m not sure if I want to see it. Do you think Ms. Atwood has seen the movie?
I’m have some sad news to rap to my fans, Such Sweet Sorrow has been put on hold. This is because my laptop has a virus in the hard-drive and won’t be used for awhile. In the meantime, it hasn’t stopped me from writing a new chapter for it. It will be on the page in a few days.
I saw Cowboy Bebop on DVD. I can’t wait to see the live action movie. I don’t know when the movie will be released. Please tell me. Thanks a bunch.
I want to see Boys Before Flowers so bad, that I am going bananas. I don’t care that there will be no more Boys Before Flowers episodes, I’ll still be talking about the show. South Koreans have loads of the show’s reruns! 🙂
Sorry it took me so long to post this. I’ve been very busy lately and my computer was sick; plus, I couldn’t go to the library just for the Internet. Thanks for understanding me. I make a bow of forgiveness.
Going on picnics
I Wish I had a prince like Jun Pyo
I never knew that so many ‘flower people’ out there loved Boys Before Flowers. I am so shocked by the many respones that I got. I saw only a little taste of BBF. I’ve amited once before; I love the show.
I’ve notice that there are some fans who also like the import Naruto. I only got to see Naruto once. Naruto is such a popular show on both sides of the world. So to catch up, I’ll see an episode of or two of Naruto.
As I write this post, I’m almost through with the second chapter of Such Sweet Sorrow. I can’t wait to find out what happens to Butterfly and her family. It’s been a long time since I’ve post any stories on my blog.
Today is the first day of the school semitster. I’m going to have to work hard to get that A+. I have so much to do, I hope that I don’t overload myself.
There are so many post that I put out on my blog you guys should check them out!
Boys before Flowers is a no-holds bar show. I’m going to watch another episode on youtube again. I missed the show so much. I’ve often heard that its a groovy show that’s hot in South Korea. I may be the only Black female that likes things foreign and a xenophile. I just finished up on The Cat Returns. It was wonderful from start to finish.
I love Boys before Flowers. Would some of you ‘Flower people’ (fans of BBF) please link me to any website to the show? I would be grateful. (BTMA) Bowing to my audiences.
The next movie I have rented is Battle Royale. I’ve read the book once. I was in tears as friends and loved ones were dying one by one, and the children had to fend for themselves out in the world alone. In order to see the movie, I’m ‘forced’ to watch the special features about the movie. I always do this time to time in order to not be afraid of the movie. Battle Royale is about the emotions of humans who are pushed to their level of themselves, good or evil.
If I was in a battle to fight my best friends, I wouldn’t do it. I would let them shoot me, because I couldn’t kill them. Jessy, Carlos. All my classmates in the game trying to kill me. No. No. I couldn’t; even if I want to go home as the last winner.
BBF is somewhat of a gem in this age. I’ll be watching.
Holy, Kero! I can’t believe that I have 81 hits for yesterday’s post( see The 200th post and Boys Before Flowers.) My blog is so popular that my family is asking me to make money off it. It’s going to be awhile before I can do that. I never knew that there was so many people that loved the Korean drama Boys Before Flowers. I’m African American, so I didn’t know it was going to be so much.
There is a sudden death of an actress of the show Boys Before Flowers. Jang Ja Yeon left this world unexpectedly from an apparent suicide. Now it’s in my personal policy not to report a suicide of anyone for any reasons. But since Ms. Yeon was a respectful actress, I decide to pass this information to my fans. I remember seeing Ms. Yeon on the show on youtube. The girl was so wonderful and happy. I can’t believe that she (a devout Christan, I believe) would end her life. So sad to die young by your own hands. My heart and Prayers go out to her family and her friends.
People, it comes to show that suicide affects everyone. Young, old; Rich, poor; boy or girl. Suicide has many faces. We as a world must help those in need. Reach out to a person in trouble. It’s too late for Jang Ja Yeon and the other victims of suicide, but there are others out there that need help to stop this demon before it claims another life. As a survivor, I urge you to get between your loved ones and suicide any way you can. If you want to save their life. I love you. You have a wonderful life. I wish you love, peace and happiness.
As I near my 200th post and the one year anniversary of Ladyserenity.wordpress.com, I wonder what kind of post I should post for the 200th post and for the one year anniversary. Will I post a story, a word of advice or something out of the blue about my life. I don’t know since I’m no Aristotle. Only 14 post to go until my 200th post. Keep reading.
Yesterday I visited youtube.com and watched the Korean drama Boys Before Flowers. I thought it would be boring; but it turned out: I loved the show. The actors are just like the characters from the manga of the same name. I hope that the CW will do a remake of the show very soon. The show is so wonderful. I hope to read the manga and watch more of the show on youtube.
I’m posting this blog outdoors since its in the 70s today. I must say that I am disappointed in myself for staying up late watching anime on Adult Swim. I love anime so much; manga and mangwa, too. I also want to read and watch Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket is like a magical version of Pollyann. There is a stage play of Fruits Basket in Japan right now. I love Fruits Basket so much. Maybe someday Disney/Beunos Vista might remake Fruits Basket as well.
I feel spring coming up next week. A rebirth of life, of hope and of change. Since Doll’s Day in Japan has past and America has Women’s day and Mother’s day, isn’t about time we have a Girl’s day/Doll’s day in America?
I love dolls and the joys of womanhood.
