Free Nelson Medela! This one’s for Mr. Mandela! Rest in peace, friend!
Oh, how I wish 2012 would stay longer.
2012 was a bittersweet year.
Dragons of Heaven & Hell battled it out.
We gained new heroes & sheroes.
We lost great people.
Micheal Clark Dunkin.
So many others that left the world too soon.
2012 was bittersweet.
Four more years of Barack.
Here’s to 2013!
May the odds be in favor of 2013.
Go for broke!
February 2010 was a month that was bittersweet for everyone. The newscast was also rocked with lots of tragedy. At the start of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics , a young Georgian man who wanted a chance to bring hope and a gold medal for his home country, meet a sad end during a practice run on a bobsled track. The footage of his crash was broadcast that tore me apart. It was a good thing that NBC would not show the accident again. As a tribute to the fallen athlete, the ceremony was dedicated in his honor.
There were some athletes that thanked their parents for ‘egging’ them to pursue their dreams. In a rare moment, Apollo Ohno showed us a person that was a hero to him in his childhood. That man was his father, Yuki. There aren’t many men that would stand by their children like Mr. Ohno. Having a single father rasing a child alone is indeed a rare treasure.
At the final round of the figure-skating finals, a Canadian female figure-skater won a sliver medal for her mother who left the world after sustaining to a heart attack. There was some bittersweet memories that haunt the world that never let you go. But the most painful moment of the last week of February was the deaths of the two sons of two famous celebrities. Both sons who came from great families ended their lives by their own hands.
They were many moments in the month of February. They were so many, I had to narrow a few of the moments down.
Welcome to March, 2010! May God bless this month!
