The end of “Sesame” Street?

Published November 24, 2012 by ladyserenity92

With the recent  deaths of two staff members from “Sesame Street” and the shocking resignation of Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash, it looks like the sunny days sweeping the clouds away are over.

After 44 years on-air, the long-running children’s show “Sesame Street” might be  shutdown for good.

After so many troubles with PBS, scandals and retirements/deaths of older staff members over the years; ‘Sesame Street’ is facing a crossroad to close up shop. With a declined in viewership and many younger fans turning to hard-core reality-shows, it’s a sad sign of the times that the “era of childhood innocents” are finally over.

Go for broke!
