It was yesterday that I found a bottle cap on the sidewalk. It was this line that made me think of a poem about loving life. So here is my poem. Enjoy! “Sobe is Strong to quite Strong.”
Sobe is strong but it’s not always quite strong.
Flowers are lovely in the spring but die in the winter.
First love is magical, but doesn’t always last forever.
Forgiveness sucks, but unforgiveness can make you sick.
Life is rough, but the best is yet to come.
If you are at the end of the road,
or you’re out of gas.
Hang on in there, Snoopy!
Get used to the hell on this earth and its people.
Until you find your pot of gold,
You must fight everyday to live until the gold comes your way!
After much thought(and the near end of free radio) I decided that this ‘Video’ deserved to be posted as today’s ‘V.R.’
Although he passed on many years ago from AIDS, his music still lives on. As Sue told Kazuhiko about his lost lover in the manga Clover(manga by CLAMP): ‘Either though a person is no longer alive in this world, their voice and song will live on long after they are gone.
Such a proper time in the 20th anniversary of CLAMP! Enjoy!
This one’s for CLAMP!
Have a nice day!
I found peace at last.
It was the voice of God telling me to get out of bed.
Outside I felt free from worry.
Along the way, I met old friends that I thought were gone.
For a little vice, I spent some money on some treats.
I was in the dark of my room.
But it was the Voice of God that brought me the peace of rest.
I wish you guys a lovely Palm Sunday! Have a blessed day!
Hey, boys and girls! Ladies and Gents! (And you haters and lovers!)
This is a new category. This category is called ‘Video Roulette’ !
(I Kid you not.)
Do you know the game of roulette?
Have you played the game of roulette?
This Roulette is a little different.
I will select a day(any day) to post a video.
It may surprize you.
It may scare you.
But the catch is…. you may be hit with a ‘Video’ and may not know it.
I’ll tease you with my deceptions!
It may be any video I choose.
On some days they may be many or a few.
Or none at all.
But I may tell you that one is coming,
Or maybe I’ll keep silent.
Do you want a video right now?
Ok…. Here is the first ‘Video’!
You won this round!
But next time I’ll fool you!
Enjoy this ‘reward’!
A few days ago I made up some good fish jokes on the eve of my baby brother’s 23rd birthday this March. My brother is a Pisces. But the sad thing about it is that he is a dumb bass. I’m happy to say that my brother (in spite of getting into deep trouble, has been given another yearly upgrade on his lifeclock. My brother knows that his time is running out. I’ll pray for him ever day. That’s what an older sister must do!
I told my fish jokes to my mom and our neighbour. They laughed at the jokes! I hope you guys will too!
What kind of fish makes people laugh and smile every time people come to see it?
A clown fish
I love Finding Nemo!
What is Ariel’s secret part-time joke when is isn’t attending school with the other fish?
She works as a Mer-Maid! (Mermaid)
My fish jokes have turned into ‘Disney’ Jokes! Have a great day!
These jokes are for entertainment purposes only. Buenos Vista/Disney Corp. nor ABC is not a sponsor of this blog.
Greetings from the land of blessings!
Today is the first day of Daylight savings times. I hope you guys have turns your clocks forward one hour. The good part about having daylight savings time is that we get a longer day of sunlight. And guess what…. we don’t have to worry about the werewolves or vampires coming outdoors to grab the ladies.(Twilight slant!)
Here are some facts about Daylight savings Time
- Benjamin Franklin was the frist representative in the history to suggest the house to use Daylight savings time.
- The only states that don’t use Daylight savings time are: Hawaii, Arizona and Alaska. (Good thing Sarah Palin can get a goodnight’s sleep.) (J.A.J.)*
- Daylight savings Time wasn’t enforced until the United States entered into War World II.
These facts may be inaccurate. I have to dig deeper into the facts. Have a wonderful day! God Bless you!
*Just a Joke!
I found these two ‘quotes’ from two famous American men from my monthly newsletter. Please enjoy!
What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us. —- Henry David Thoreau, U.S. Author
A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done. —- Dwight D. Eisenhower, 33rd U.S. President(1953–1961)
Back in the 1920’s, Walt Disney made his debut with the animated short Steamboat Willie. It stared the pop-icon Mickey Mouse. Before the world knew Walt Disney, the world was treated to its first known animator, Winsor McKay. As the years went by, the world was treated with cartoons in what was called The Cartoon Boom. It wasn’t until around 2001 that the end of weekday cartoon shows (plus the economic crisis) put an end to the ‘toon boom’.
Now in a new era, the ‘toon boom’ may be making a comeback.
Actor/comedian George Lopez is turning Warner Brother’s once ‘imfamous’ mascot Speedy Gonzales into a ‘politally-corect’ heroe. This time, the fastest mouse will be the fastest racecar driver. As of this posting, more information is coming soon.
After a 10 year hiatus, Japanese manga artist Naoko Takashi is bringing her nearly forgotten shojo series ‘Sailor Moon’ back to a new generation of fans. Now this is just a rumor. But sometimes rumors can be true. There are a lot of old-school ‘toons coming back for a new generation of kids. Will this generation embrace the old in an updated world?
Only time will tell.
