Just want everyone to know

Published August 30, 2008 by ladyserenity92

I just want everyone to know that I am still working on the novel ‘Such sweet sorrow’. There’s a catch: I’m making the story into a series of parts. When the series is over with, I’ll make it into an e-novel. Just watch my blog for the story. Reader’s discretion is a must because of the mature subject matter of the story.

Just a word about ‘Rage’ (part one)

Published August 29, 2008 by ladyserenity92

I wonder why you guys like ‘Rage’ (Part one) instead of ‘part two’ ? I think you should read the second part of my ‘Rage’ story to see how it ends. If you like my story (or stories on ‘Rage’ Pts. 1&2) let me know. Who knows, it might become a movie one day.

The day it rained

Published August 27, 2008 by ladyserenity92

On August 26th, it was a day that I thought the South would flood. It was a day that we finally had the rain that we prayed for. It poured in waterfalls by the ton. I got socked most of the time. I finally heard ‘It’s Raining Men’ playing in my head as I got ready for school. I love the rain. Maybe next time, they’ll be plenty more rain for God to give to us, along with a rainbow.

What’s new in my life

Published August 26, 2008 by ladyserenity92

My sister recently got a new job and I am still in good health. For one thing, I am blessed to be here for a second chance to shape-up and fly right. I’ll have more post next time. I’m going to pray more and count my blessings instead of sheep. Okay, I’ll count the lambs and lions as well as the sheep!

Update, update

Published August 24, 2008 by ladyserenity92

Well, I have good news and bad news.

First the bad. My computer has a virus in it and I won’t be able to type in my post for a little while. Plus the price of paper is up by 10%, so I won’t be able to use much paper to write my stories. And my stories & poems are on hiatus for awhile.

I do have good news.

In the meantime, I’m self-teaching myself to become a better author. With more free time, I’m working as hard as I can. I wish I had a pay-pal button so I can earn some pocket money for Christmastime. Maybe one day. If you like (or don’t like) something on my post, just drop me a line.

A review on ‘Twilight’

Published August 23, 2008 by ladyserenity92

After three years of waiting, I finally read Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. I expected to be a blast. All it was was a flat, ripoff from other vampire genres. I seen it all, and Twilight is something out of the Vampire manga ‘Vampire Knight’.Stephenie Meyer does some great work on the novel. The book is good, although, I wish she would give the book more spice instead of cliches. Mrs. Meyer, I loved the book, so I’ll be fair. My grade: B+

Maybe I’ll read the rest of your Twilight series books and think it over, Mrs. Meyer. If anyone out there Liked the Twilight books, I think you should read Vampire Knight for good measure.

A girl named Patty

Published August 22, 2008 by ladyserenity92

My name is Patty MacDonald. I’m 12, in the seventh grade and live in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

My mom and dad are divorced. I have a five year old sister named Ruby. She’s very bright for her age and very cute. Two days after my twelfth birthday, my dad sent me a necklace in the mail. He told me it was some kind of Lolita necklace that was inspired by the movie Tianic.

The necklace is very odd. Its in the shape of a heart, blue colored and has the mark of Libra on it.

I don’t know what this necklace holds for me; what I do know is once I wear it around my neck, I will enter into a world that is no other. Once I come to the inner realm, I will never be the same again.

What will become of Patty when she enters the world of Zodiacland? A modern fairy-tale mixed with everyday situations from different walks of genre. If you like Fruits Basket, wait till you read:

Adventures in Zodiacland. Coming Soon! (I hope!)
